Medical-Legal Partnership

MetroWest Legal Services is proud to partner with the Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center in Framingham to provide an on-site attorney. In addition to providing direct legal advice and representation to patients, the on-site attorney trains health care providers to identify legal issues that may negatively affect the patient’s health.

By making legal assistance a component of patient care, the Medical-Legal Partnership addresses the complex needs of patients with limited resources and helps them to meet their basic needs for food housing, education, health care, and personal and family stability and safety.
